29. Mistrzostwa świata kobiet w curlingu rozgrywane były w Aomori (Japonia), w dniach 17 - 25 marca 2007. Były to pierwsze mistrzostwa tej rangi rozgrywane na kontynencie azjatyckim. W mistrzostwach udział brało 12 drużyn (2 z Ameryki Północnej, 2 z Azji i Oceanii i 8 z Europy). W Polsce wydarzenie transmitował Eurosport.

Ostatecznie mistrzostwa wygrały Kanadyjki, srebrny medal zdobyły Dunki a brązowy Szkotki.

Camilla Jensen z drużyny duńskiej musiała wyjechać tuż przed rozpoczęciem play-offów (a jest to jeden z największych sukcesów duńskiego curlingu w ostatnich latach) do kraju. Nie wyrażono bowiem zgody na przesunięcie terminu egzaminu na uniwersytecie.
