Wyścig początkowo wygrał George Russell (Mercedes), ale został zdyskwalifikowany za zbyt lekki bolid, więc zwycięzcą wyścigu został Lewis Hamilton (Mercedes), a na podium stanęli kolejno: Oscar Piastri (McLaren) i Charles Leclerc (Ferrari).
