Biografía Empezó nel cine dirixendo en 1912 An Indian Legend, un western de Broncho Film Company protagonizáu por Grace Cunard y Francis Ford. En total dirixó 98 filmes dende 1912 a 1927, y actuó en 26 ente 1914 y 1934, escribiendo'l guión de 7. La so última película como actor, This Side of Heaven, estrenóse'l 2 de febreru de 1934, un mes y mediu dempués de la so muerte, asocedida en Los Angeles, California. Foi enterráu nel Campusantu Hollywood Forever de Hollywood.
Giblyn fuera unu de los fundadores de la Motion Picture Directors Association.
