Walter Huntley Long foi un actor cinematográficu de calter d'Estaos Xuníos.
Biografía
Nacíu en Nashua (New Hampshire), empecipiar nel cine na década de 1910. A lo llargo de la so carrera actuó en munches películes de D. W. Griffith, destacando ente elles The Birth of a Nation (1915), na qu'encarnaba a Gus, un afroamericanu, cola cara maquillada de negru, y Intolerancia (1916).
Long tamién actuó con Rodolfo Valentino en tres film nos primeros años venti, anque ye más recordáu polos sos papeles de villanu cómicu en delles cintes de Stan Laurel y Oliver Hardy na década de 1930.
De primeres de la so carrera cinematográfica, Long casóse con Luray Huntley, una de les intérpretes de la compañía d'actores de D.W. Griffith. Ella finó en 1918, a los 28 años d'edá, por causa de la gripe español.
Long sirvió na Primer y na Segunda Guerra Mundial, llogrando l'empléu de teniente coronel enantes de ser llicenciáu con honores al rematar la segunda guerra.
Walter Long finó por causa de un ataque al corazón en 1952 en Los Angeles, California. Foi enterráu nel Campusantu Hollywood Forever de Hollywood, California.
