Biografía En 1991, llogró la so Ph.D., pola Universidá de Vermont. Ye investigadora del Grupu de Sistemática de Plantes na UVM, estudiando filoxeografía d'especies botániques rares, alredor de Vermont y del llagu Champlain,http://www.efloras.org/florataxon.aspx?flora_id=1&taxon_id=100603 y que son comunes nes dunes de sable de la Mariña Atlántica. Anguaño termina la taxonomía y bioxeografía de Ammophila breviligulata subsp. champlainensis y sobre la hestoria migratoria de Lathyrus japonicus. Y paralelamente con Hudsonia tomentosa. Na so tesis estudió la diverxencia xenética y especiación en Adiantum pedatum (felechos culantrillo) complexes y del papel de los mecanismos d'aislamientu xeográficos y ecolóxicos na promoción de la diverxencia y especiación dientro d'ella.
