Historija
Punch je osnovan 17. jula 1841. godine od strane Henrya Mayhewa i Ebenezera Landellsa.
Povratak 1996. godine
Rano u 1996. godini, egipatski biznismen Mohamed Fayed kupio je pravo na ime magazina, te ga ja ponovo pčeo objavljivati kasnije te iste godine.
2004. godine, većina arhive, uključujući poznati Punchov stol, prodata je britanskoj biblioteci.
