Popis Zkameněliny tohoto raně křídového teropoda byly objeveny v sedimentech geologického souvrství Camarillas. Tento rod spinosauridního teropoda poněkud zaplňuje mezeru mezi svrchnojurskými druhy a pozdějšími taxony. Příslušnost k čeledi Spinosauridae byla rozeznána až v roce 2021.Adun Samathi, P.
