Marine Pollution Bulletin, 46(1), 91-98.

Will the crab Hemigrapsus penicillatus invade the coasts of Europe ?. Exotics of coastal and inland waters of Ireland and Britain. In Invasive aquatic species of Europe.

Annual Report of Iwate Medical University, School of Liberal Arts and Sciences, 28, 37-45..

Seasonal variation of population structure of Hemigrapsus penicillatus (De Haan)(Crustacea: Brachyura). Jpn. J. Ecol, 37, 81-89. Diurnal changes of rhabdom structures in the compound eye of the grapsid crab, Hemigrapsus penicillatus. Journal of electron microscopy, 36(4), 213-223 (résumé).

Parasitoses Il peut être notamment parasité par Microphallus macrorchisSchubart, C. D., Cuesta, J. A., & Rodríguez, A. (2001). Molecular phylogeny of the crab genus Brachynotus (Brachyura: Varunidae) based on the 16S rRNA gene Hydrobiologia, 449(1-3), 41-46.

Zoeal stages and megalopa of Hemigrapsus penicillatus (De Haan, 1835)(Decapoda, Brachyura, Grapsidae) reared in the laboratory.
