Dorothy Eden, née le à Ashburton, dans les plaines de Canterbury, en Nouvelle-Zélande, et morte le à Londres, est une romancière et nouvelliste d’origine néo-zélandaise, auteur de littérature populaire.
Bibliographie Elle naît sur une ferme. Après ses études, elle devient secrétaire juridique avant d'émigrer pour s'installer à Londres en 1954.
À partir de 1940, elle publie à un rythme soutenu des romans historiques, gothiques et de nombreux récits policiers mâtinés d'intrigues sentimentales.
Elle est invitée à devenir membre du Detection Club en 1959.
