Like 1 (NPC1L1) is the intestinal phytosterol and cholesterol transporter and a key modulator of whole-body cholesterol homeostasis, J Biol Chem, 2004;279:33586-33592.
A, Genetic variation in the cholesterol transporter NPC1L1, ischaemic vascular disease, and gallstone disease, Eur Heart J, 2015;36:1601-1608.
Cible thérapeutique L'ézétimibe est un inhibiteur du NPC1L1Garcia-Calvo M, Lisnock J, Bull HG et al. The target of ezetimibe is Niemann-Pick C1-Like 1 (NPC1L1), Proc Natl Acad Sci U S A, 2005;102:8132-8137.
