Barnabas Wood, né le à Guilderland, New York et mort le à Albany, New York, était un dentiste et un inventeur américain, surtout connu pour sa découverte en 1860 de l'alliage connu sous le nom de métal de WoodFinding aid for the Barnabas Wood Papers: MS.3459, at the Library of the University of Tennessee, Knoxville; retrieved July 28, 2014.
