Ils formalisent leurs points de vue dans « The Opinion of the Remontrants » (1618)The Opinions of the Remonstrants, , sur evangelicalarminians.org, page consultée le 25 décembre 2022..
Dans son livre, l'évêque anglais Laurence Womock (1612-1685) fournit de nombreuses références scripturaires au cinquième article sur la persévérance présenté par les remontrantsThe Examination of Tilenus Before the Triers, in Order to His Intended Settlement in the Office of a Public Preacher, in the Commonwealth of Utupia: Whereupon Are Annexed The Tenets of the Remontrants, Touching Those Five Articles Voted, Stated, and Emposed, but Not Disputed, at the Synod of Dort. Philip van Limborch (1633-1712) rédigea en 1702 le premier ouvrage complet de théologie (Remontrant Systematic Theology) comprenant une section sur l'apostasieA Complete System, or Body of Divinity, both Speculative and Practical: Founded on Scripture and Reason. ..
The Works of John Wesley, 10:298..
