Michael Beinhorn é un músico e produtor discográfico estadounidense. Durane os anos 80 comezou a súa carreira profesional como músico, tocando os teclados na banda Material de Bill Laswell. Tocou co músico de jazz Herbie Hancock, aparecendo no álbum Future Shock, que contiña o éxito "Rockit", coescrito por Beinhorn e que é considerado un dos temas seminais do hip hop.
Como produtor comezou a traballar tamén a principios dos 80, e produciu álbums de artistas como Red Hot Chili Peppers, Soundgarden, Hole, Marilyn Manson ou Ozzy Osbourne. No ano 1998 gañou un Grammy polo seu traballo no disco Celebrity Skin de Hole.
