A Hucho a sugarasúszójú halak (Actinopterygii) osztályának lazacalakúak (Salmoniformes) rendjébe, ezen belül a lazacfélék (Salmonidae) családjába tartozó nem.
Tudnivalók A Hucho-fajok Eurázsia édesvizeinek nagytestű lazacféléi; a legnagyobb hosszuk 50-200 centiméter között mozog.
