A Sechellophryne a kétéltűek (Amphibia) osztályának békák (Anura) rendjébe és a Seychelle-szigeteki békafélék (Sooglossidae) családjába tartozó nem.
Előfordulásuk
A nembe tartozó fajok a Seychelle-szigetek endemikus fajai, a Mahé és a Silhouette szigeten, trópusi esőerdőkben honosak. A nem elterjedési helyükről kapta nevét.
