A Crossodactylodes a kétéltűek (Amphibia) osztályába, a békák (Anura) rendjébe és a füttyentőbéka-félék (Leptodactylidae) családjába, azon belül a Paratelmatobiinae alcsaládba tartozó nem.
Elterjedésük
A nembe tartozó fajok Brazília Atlanti-parti hegységeiben honosak.
