Asso (Attestato in Stefano di Bisanzio, s. v. Ἄσσος.) è stata un'antica città nell'Epiro meridionale. L'unica menzione della città è fatta da Stefano di Bisanzio, che la pone nell'Epiro meridionale.Così è d'accordo anche N.G.L. Hammond (Epirus. The geography, the ancient remains, the history and the topography of Epirus and adjacent areas, Oxford, 1967, pp. 56-57).
