Tornato in Inghilterra, all'età di 19 anni è entrato alla Guildhall School of Music and Drama, dove si è laureato in clarinetto classico .
Nel marzo 2020, i Shabaka and the Ancestors hanno pubblicato We Are Sent Here by History per la Impulse! Records. L'etichetta ha pubblicato album di artisti come Chelsea Carmichael, Confucius MC e Kwake Bass, The Brother Moves On, Ganavya Doraiswamy e Kofi Flexxx.
