Ha collaborato come giornalista per The Times e per The Independent. Dal 2005 si è dedicato a tempo pieno alla scrittura di thriller, sviluppando la serie incentrata sul personaggio di Nic Costa, le cui vicende sono tutte ambientate in Italia.
