Bruno Carnide (Leiria, 1987) é um realizador e produtor de cinema, membro da Academia de Artes e Ciências Cinematográficas de Hollywood.
Duas vezes nomeado aos Prémios Sophia da Academia Portuguesa de Cinema, desenvolve uma obra autoral que cruza ficção, animação e documentário, explorando temas como a memória, a identidade e a materialidade da imagem, recorrendo frequentemente à película analógica como elemento narrativo, uma das marcas distintivas da sua linguagem cinematográfica.
Os seus filmes foram distinguidos com mais de 50 prémios e selecionados para mais de 400 festivais e mostras de cinema em mais de 50 países, incluindo festivais qualificadores aos Oscars® e aos Prémios do Cinema Europeu, entre os quais se destacam festivais de categoria A como ZINEBI (Espanha), InterFilm (Alemanha), Tirana (Albânia), Huesca (Espanha), Izmir (Turquia), CineLebu (Chile), Drama (Grécia), Tehran (Irão) e St. Louis (E. U. A.), além de festivais portugueses como IndieLisboa, Cinanima, Monstra, MOTELX ou FEST.
É diretor-fundador e programador do Leiria Film Fest – Festival Internacional de Curtas-Metragens desde 2013, detentor do Título de Especialista em Produção Cinematográfica, docente universitário na área de Cinema, integra regularmente o júri de diversos festivais internacionais e foi curador do Museu da Imagem em Movimento de Leiria entre 2022 e 2024.
Desenvolve trabalho na realização de filmes institucionais, publicidade e conteúdos audiovisuais, assinando centenas de produções para marcas como Google, MTV, Nickelodeon, RTP, Volkswagen, Ford ou Schweppes.
Da sua filmografia destacam-se as curtas-metragens “Memórias de uma Casa Vazia” (2023) e “Fugiu. Deitou-se. Caí.” (2017), ambas rodadas em película Super8, e a curta-metragem de animação “O Voo das Mantas” (2021).
Politécnico de Leiria Após concluir o curso profissional, Bruno Ingressou no Ensino superior no, Instituto Politécnico de Leiria, ESTG para CET, e em seguida para Engenharia Informática.
De 2008 a 2011, transferiu de escolas no Instituto Politécnico de Leiria, vindo da ESTG, Leiria para a ESAD, Caldas da Rainha na Licenciatura de Som e Imagem.
