Rudolph von Jhering () a fost un jurist german, profesor la Universitatea din Viena, cunoscut pentru cartea sa Der Kampf ums Recht (1872).
Unul din auditorii cursului său de istoria dreptului roman în anul universitar 1871/72 a fost Mihai Eminescu.
