Gonodactylus — род раков-богомолов из семейства GonodactylidaeGonodactylus Berthold, 1827 marinespecies.org.
Описание К роду Gonodactylus относятся самые крупные представители семейства Gonodactylidae. Глаз субцилиндрический, роговица не шире ножки при взгляде сверху. Глазные чешуйки крупные, шире, чем базальная ширина срединного шипа ростральной пластинки, заметно шире, чем высота, уплощены сверху. Ростральная пластинка с тонким срединным шипом и короткой, широкой, трапециевидной базальной частью. Передние боковые края карапакса выпуклые, выступают вперед за основание ростральной пластинки. Мандибулярный щупик присутствует. Проподус хищного когтя с проксимальным подвижным шипом или без него у взрослых особей. Тельсон с 3 срединно-дорсальными килями. Внутренний киль тельсона без дополнительного продольного киля на медиальном крае; анус расположен вентрально. Распространение Все шесть видов обитают в Индо-Тихоокеанском регионе, в коралловых или скальных рифах, а также в углублениях в скалах и коралловых обломках. Из них четыре встречаются в водах Южной Африки, включая потенциально неописанный видGonodactylus Berthold, 1827 . gbif.org.
