Paraortyx — вимерлий птах родини Paraortygidae ряду Куроподібні (Galliformes). Птах мешкав на початку олігоцену (34-29 млн років тому) в Європі. Скам'янілості знайдені у Німеччині поблизу міста Лейпциг.
