George Condo, né le à Concord (New Hampshire), est un peintre américain des États-Unis.
George Condo vit et travaille à New York, mais a vécu à Paris de 1985 à 1995Paris Match no 3989 (16-22 octobre 2025).. Son œuvre est principalement constitué de portraits, dans lesquels il explore et interprète les innombrables modèles et références de ce genre traditionnel de l'histoire de l'art.
Biographie
George Condo s'installe à New York en 1979, où il devient assistant d'Andy Warhol pour la réalisation des sérigraphie de la série Myths. Il y sympathise avec Jean-Michel Basquiat et Keith Haring et réalise sa première exposition personnelle dès 1983.
